My Story

While volunteering at the RSPCA walking dogs, during 2022, I adopted Dolly, a beautiful black Labrador from the RSPCA—and quickly discovered she had zero interest in staying clean. Muddy ponds, hedges, bogs… if it’s filthy, she’s in it.

I love her adventurous spirit, but my washing machine didn’t. Constant piles of soggy, smelly towels covered in black Lab hair were driving me mad. They took ages to dry and left everything with that unmistakable “wet dog” aroma.

So I started thinking: there had to be a better, more eco‑friendly way to clean up our mucky pups without endless loads of laundry.

And that’s how our biodegradable, compostable dog towels were created—one dog mum’s simple solution to keeping Dolly clean while being kinder to the planet.
